Yes. Veemo is a zero-emissions electric vehicle and has an almost infinitely lower GHG footprint than any internal combustion engine (ICE) powered vehicle when charged from renewable electrical sources such as hydro-electric, solar or wind.

There are many free online resources, such as the Co2 Calculator. Veemo’s CEO - David Watson (Yes, the guy who Jumped the Tour de France on a mountain bike) estimated that he commutes at least 3000 Kilometres (1865 miles) a year for work to and from the office alone. Based on his vehicle efficiency, commuting via a Veemo would reduce his carbon footprint by 0.82 tonnes of CO2 annually. The savings can be significant if you drive the average of 20,000km (12,500 miles) per year.  The exact calculation will depends on what type of vehicle you drive, how and where you drive, traffic conditions and the offset source of electricity generation for Veemo.

Veemo is an innovation in zero emissions, micro-mobility that plays a significant role in reducing personal greenhouse gas emissions.  Change comes as we increase the use of smaller, alternative electric vehicles (cars, micro-mobility, motor bikes, etc.) in place of Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) powered vehicles. Why is it imperative? Starting in the 1950’s Carbon Dioxide levels in the Earths’ atmosphere have risen rapidly. Veemo will go approximately 70 Km (45 miles) based on the pedal assist level chosen and using the throttle on a single charge, depending on the terrain, the percentage of power you use from the motor and the gross weight of the vehicle (including rider and cargo). There will be a dual battery option for the ones who want to double the range with an extra cost of C$944 which makes both batteries connected to the system and drain at the same time. The battery is swappable, so you can also carrying an extra fully charged battery to extend the range.

For commuters, we have designed our battery to be removable to allow charging at work so you have a fresh charge for the trip home.

A single stock battery can be charged from normal household outlets in approximately Eight hours and a half.

Colder weather (below 0 C / 32 F) can affect the charging time.

Veemo is about 2.0 meters long, 0.89 meters wide, and 1.5 meters high (about 79” X 35” X 59”).  Veemo weighs around 62 Kilograms (136lbs) (Including one battery) and the maximum gross vehicle weight allows up to 150 kg (330 pounds) of rider and cargo in addition to the vehicle weight of 63 kilograms.

No, Veemo is designed as a one person velomobile.

Many standard bicycle trailers may be attached to the rear axle of any Veemo to carry up to 2 children.

The Veemo is powered by the Envo rear hub motor with a 750W power which will be limited to certain powers based on the final destination and rules to be street legal.

Technically, Veemo can go up to 45Km/h (28mph) of Speed. The maximum electric motor assisted speed of Veemo is limited to comply with multiple  regulations. In the United Kingdom (UK) and European Union (EU), the maximum speed for (EN15194) regulations is 25 km/h. Canada and United States regulations cap the speed at  20 MPH (32 km/h).

The frame is made of high strength aluminum, offering a stiff and lightweight chassis for optimal handling and power transfer.

Veemo requires the same basic maintenance as most eBikes. Basic safety items like tire pressure, inspection, brake inspections, suspension tuning and battery charging are all fairly standard and easy for any user to do on their own.

When you purchase your bike from Veemo you are covered by an extended manufacturers' warranty of 1 year. Also a second year of warranty can be purchased with $190 extra.

Veemo will keep you dry and will generally outperform any regular eBike in keeping you dry. We have tested Veemo in the beautifully soggy Pacific Northwest of North America.  If rain is approaching sideways in a strong crosswind, you may experience some moisture. 

Veemo has no heater yet is semi-enclosed so it protects riders from immediate wind-chill effects.  By design, the front fascia efficiently deflects air around the vehicle, keeping the rider sheltered from the environment. Always dress appropriately for any cold weather.

Veemo is designed for maximum safety and stability. One of the most important safety advantages Veemo offers is dual front wheels. Two wheeled vehicles are in danger of slipping out when the front wheel hits a painted (slippery) road surface in wet weather. Veemo and other three wheeled vehicles have two wheels to greatly reduce accidents.

Veemo has been tested with various camber and castor settings to find the perfect blend of efficiency and safety.  Every vehicle is factory set with toe in and other adjustments made for maximum safety and performance (too much toe in creates “tire Scrub” which can limit power transfer).

As with any vehicle, Veemo needs to be approached with common sense and caution. Always ride without your experience level and be careful to avoid unnecessary risks, especially in traffic.

Yes! The seat can easily be moved backwards and forwards to allow for different sizes of riders. The cockpit is designed to fit riders up to 6’3 tall, yet taller riders may still adapt.  Handlebar position is also adjustable.

We are not aware of any bike lane restrictions, so most countries allow e-Bikes to be ridden in bike lanes along with other micro-mobility vehicles. Unlike four wheeled velomobiles, Veemo is technically considered a bicycle.  Always conduct a prior check with your local regulations to confirm.

The date of your reservation will be used to secure a sequential reservation for your Veemo. Veemo's will be delivered on a first -ordered, first-served basis and we are scheduling it to be deliverable to customers by April 2024.
